Common Questions
Do you take on lighting-only projects, or does it have to be part of a bigger build?
We quote lighting on its own. Most of it goes in during a deck, patio, or walkway build, because that is when the cable can be run inside the framing or under the base and never be seen again. But you do not need a build booked to get lights. If your deck and yard are already finished and you just want them lit properly, that is a project we will come out and price. The tradeoff is the wiring: on a finished structure it is either surface-run or it means opening sections up, so expect a different look and a higher cost per fixture than the same system put in during construction.
Is it too late to add lighting to a deck in Red Deer that is already built?
No, but it is more expensive and the result is different. Surface-mounted wiring is more visible and partially concealed options require opening up sections of the structure.
