Red Deer is our home base. We build more decks, fences, pergolas, and retaining walls in Red Deer than anywhere else. From neighbourhoods like Timberlands and Clearview to acreages on the south side, we know how this city builds and what the City of Red Deer requires for permits and inspections. Where a build needs a permit we prepare the package and coordinate the inspections. Every build is engineered for the freeze-thaw conditions specific to central Alberta.

Lacombe's compact, well-preserved downtown, one of Alberta's designated historic districts, sits alongside newer subdivisions on the edges of town, and we build in both: deck rebuilds on older properties, first-time builds on newer lots. We support the Lacombe County permit process and build to the same engineered standards regardless of municipality, town lot or rural acreage.

Sylvan Lake building comes with lakeside considerations a Red Deer lot doesn’t: setbacks tied to the high-water mark, increased moisture exposure, and grading that has to account for lake-adjacent drainage. We’ve built composite decks, privacy screens, and retaining walls on Sylvan Lake properties and design around these conditions rather than working around them after the fact.

Innisfail's mix of older, established homes and newer builds keeps us busy with everything from deck rebuilds to full outdoor living installs. Ponoka, home of the Ponoka Stampede and the farms and acreages that surround it along the Battle River, is a regular part of our Central Alberta service area. Blackfalds has grown faster than almost any other town in Alberta over the past decade, and we work there regularly as a result. New construction lots often need proper grading and retaining solutions built into the plan from day one, not added as an afterthought once the deck is already framed. We advise on sequencing your outdoor build with your new home.

Olds, home to Olds College and its agriculture and horticulture programs, tends to draw homeowners with a genuine interest in how their outdoor space is designed, not just built. Homeowners in Olds and the surrounding Mountain View County can expect the same site visit, 3D design, and firm proposal process as every Green Ladder project, including a prepared permit package where one is required.

Rimbey sits where Highways 20 and 53 meet in the Blindman River valley, about an hour northwest of Red Deer in Ponoka County. Most of our projects out there are larger acreage builds: significant grade changes, retaining walls, and bigger deck footprints than a typical town lot. We’re comfortable with rural site conditions and the scale that comes with them.

Stettler is best known outside Central Alberta for the Alberta Prairie Railway’s heritage train excursions, but for us it’s a straightforward custom deck and outdoor living market. We make the drive for the right project; contact us and we’ll confirm availability for your location.

Rocky Mountain House and the Clearwater County area, the gateway to the David Thompson corridor and Alberta’s West Country, mark the western edge of our regular service zone. Penhold, just south of Red Deer and home to the Red Deer Regional Airport, is one of the fastest-growing towns in Central Alberta. We build regularly here for homeowners who want the same quality as a Red Deer build, with permits and setback requirements supported as part of every project.

Bentley sits a few minutes from Gull Lake, and acreage and rural builds are common in this area alongside lake-adjacent properties. We’re comfortable with rural site conditions and properties with significant grade changes.

Bashaw is at the eastern edge of our Central Alberta service area. We take on custom deck and outdoor builds here for the right project, mostly larger acreage sites; contact us and we’ll confirm scheduling.

Wetaskiwin, home to the Reynolds-Alberta Museum, is within reach for custom deck and outdoor projects. We’ve built in Wetaskiwin and the surrounding area before and are familiar with the local permit process.
